Hi Beauties!

I’m Mary Scott, President & CEO of MSM Beauty Solutions… but at my core, I’m a beauty enthusiast who fell in love with makeup long before it became my career.

My journey started when my mom brought me to a makeup lesson to perfect a smokey eye for my dance competitions. Before you knew it, I was glamming everyone in my dance school, and what began as curiosity quickly turned into passion. At just 16, I started working as a professional makeup artist, teaching myself techniques through countless hours of YouTube tutorials, with a dream that kept expanding.

I first ventured business side of beauty at a company called Lady Burd Cosmetics, a local contract manufacturer based in Long Island, NY. There, I project-managed indie beauty brands helping them develop formulas, packaging, positioning, and more. Within a few years, I advanced to Director of Product Development, yet I always kept working one-on-one with my clients and emerging founders. Even as my career advanced, I never let go of the personal, hands-on work I loved most, collaborating directly with clients and brands to help their visions take shape.

With nearly a decade of experience across Product Development, Project Management, and Marketing, I’ve had the privilege of guiding ideas into products that resonate with consumers. What inspires me daily is the magic of transformation – watching an idea evolve into something beautiful, tangible, and loved.

My approach is all about blending creativity with strategy. I thrive on rolling up my sleeves, digging into the process, and working alongside brands to build something authentic, innovative, and impactful.
